Wisconsin Rapids 9, Kalamazoo 2

Scoring at least one run in each of the first five innings, the Rafters paced their way to taking the first game at home against the Kalamazoo Growlers. Wisconsin Rapids Center Fielder Jake Sandlin (Georgia College) dazzled with four hits and four RBIs as he earned his second Player of the Night in 2015. Jack Riley (UConn) took the mound for the Rafters and went six innings giving up two earned runs, seven hits and struck out five Growlers. John Soteropulos (California) was the lone bright spot in the Kalamazoo lineup as he was a perfect 3-for-3 and a walk, as Kalamazoo remains in 9th place in the South with a 3-10 record.
