GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers will hold their annual Family Night on Aug. 8, five days before their preseason opener at the New England Patriots.

For the second straight year, the team will hold a regular practice — and not a scrimmage like it used to — inside Lambeau Field on that night, team president Mark Murphy said Wednesday during an appearance on WLUK-TV, which sponsors and broadcasts the event.

Tickets are $10 — the same as they have been for the past several years — and go on sale June 22 at 10 a.m. local time. Last year, all 73,000 tickets available for the event were sold.

The Packers’ first training camp practice is July 30, but they have not yet announced the full camp schedule.
