Another Wausau West High School hockey standout has earned a Division 1 scholarship. Warriors’ junior defenseman Adam Parsells has accepted an offer from the University of Wisconsin and will play college hockey for the Badgers. Parsells, a first-team all-Wisconsin Valley Conference selection this past season, joins teammate Kevin Conley as future D-1 college performers. Conley has committed to the University of Denver. The bad news for Wausau West could be the loss of both Parsells and Conley for their senior seasons next year. Both players have been drafted by teams in the United States Hockey League and could be playing there next season.
