Hockey: East rallies in final seconds of regulation and OT to stun Marshfield
It looked like the Marshfield hockey team was going to earn their first Wisconsin Valley Conference win of the season last night at Marathon Park against Wausau East. The Tigers led 1-0 until Nick Dovorany tied the game for East with just 17 seconds left in regulation and then Ethan Rist won it for the Lumberjacks with a goal 35 seconds into OT to give East the 2-1 win. Brad Krueger had 20 saves for Marshfield, who got a goal from Andy Wittman. East goalie Jacob Matsche had 26 saves.
