Merrill girls’ hoops star Sladek to have MRI on injured knee
Merrill all-conference basketball standout Renee Sladek will be having an MRI on her injured knee today according to a story published by the Wausau Daily Herald. Sladek suffered the injury Tuesday night in the first quarter of the Blue Jays win over Wausau East. Merrill coach Melissa Yuska says results of the test should be known Friday. The Blue Jays are currently 4-1 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference and tied with DC Everest and Stevens Point for first place in the league.
