Battle of ranked teams as Marathon travels to Owen-Withee tonight in girls’ hoops on Sports Fan 100.5!

It’s a good non-conference match-up in girls’ high school basketball tonight on Sports Fan 100.5 as Marathon travels to Owen-Withee. Both teams are ranked in the wissports.net/WBCA coach’s poll with the Red Raiders #9 in Division 4 and the Black Hawks are #3 in Division 5. 9-1 Owen-Withee made it to the D-5 state title game last season after upsetting top-ranked Newman Catholic in the semifinals and has most of that squad back this season. 10-1 Marathon has won their last six games, including a road win at Newman last Monday. Sports Fan 100.5 coverage begins with the pregame show at 7 p.m. and the opening tip is set for 7:30. The game will also be streamed online at espn1005.com.
