Green Bay Packers defensive back Charles Woodson is expected back in action
when the Packers play Chicago December 16. Woodson has missed five games
with a broken collarbone. He has not been cleared to play and still needs
more tests before he plays again. Meanwhile, receiver Jordy Nelson is not
expected to play against Detroit Sunday night, due to his hamstring
problems. Nelson first hurt the hamstring last month, and re-aggravated the
injury Sunday while warming up for the game with Minnesota. The Packers
are also uncertain if right tackle TJ Lang will play this week. Lang
suffered an ankle injury against Minnesota, but it does not appear to be a
serious injury.
