Green Bay Packers defensive back Sam Shields may have to miss Sunday’s game
with Detroit due to injury. Shields ran at full speed during practice
yesterday for the first time since hurting his shin on October 14 against
Houston, but Shields says he felt more pain in the leg, and believes he may
have a high ankle sprain. If Shields cannot play, rookie Casey Hayward will
start once again. Receiver Jordy Nelson practiced for the second straight
day and says he feels good after suffering a sprained ankle against Arizona
12 days ago.
