UWSP’s Hartman earns All-American HM honors in volleyball

STEVENS POINT, Wis. – Sophomore setter Alexis Hartman (Lake Zurich, IL/Lake Zurich) earned 2012 American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III All-American Honorable Mention accolades, marking the second consecutive season in which the UW-Stevens Point volleyball team has produced an All-American.

Christina Brinkman (Bristol, WI/Westosha Central) was named an Honorable Mention All-American following the 2011 season.

Hartman was also named to the First-Team All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) for the second consecutive year.

Hartman placed third in the WIAC with 1,230 total assists and tied for fifth with 115 total blocks.

Hartman helped lead the Pointers to their second consecutive WIAC title and second consecutive NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.
