#6 Oshkosh rolls past UWSP football team
OSHKOSH, Wis. – The UW-Stevens Point football team fell to No. 6 UW-Oshkosh Saturday, 56-31.

Adam Vesterfelt (Janesville, WI/Parker) ran for 109 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries for the Pointers (2-7, 1-5 WIAC), marking the second time this season Vesterfelt has eclipsed the 100-yard mark on the ground.
Theo Maglio (Wautoma, WI/Wautoma) continued his prowess as one of the best wide receivers in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference by finishing with eight catches and 127 yards.
Mitch Beau (Fon du Lac, WI/St. Mary Springs) completed 24 of 41 pass attempts for 295 yards, a touchdown and three interceptions.
The Titans (9-0, 6-0 WIAC) scored all 56 points in the first half. The Pointers scored 21 points in the second half while keeping the Titans off the scoreboard in the third and fourth quarters.
Titans quarterback Nate Wara went 11-for-14 for 279 yards and three touchdowns while running back Cole Myhra rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns on 13 carries.
James Sladek (Merrill, WI/Merrill) and Jake Luedtke (Sussex, WI/Sussex-Hamilton) led the Pointers defense with seven tackles each.
The Pointers return to Goerke Field Saturday, Nov. 10 to host UW-Platteville on Senior Day. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
