Girls’ Volleyball: Merrill advances to D-1 semifinals in state tourney

Casey Steffen had 17 kills while Katie Zuelsdorff added 11 kills as the Merrill girls’ volleyball team defeated Muskego 25-22, 20-25, 25-23, 25-20 in a Division 1 quarterfinal at the Resch Center in Green Bay on Thursday. Lindsay Krueger had 39 assists and 18 digs for the Blue Jays, who will face Divine Savior Holy Angels in a D-1 semifinal Friday night at 7 p.m.
