Nelson still questionable for Packers this week against Arizona
Green Bay Packers receiver Jordy Nelson will not practice until Friday at
the earliest due to his hamstring injury. Nelson will continue to go
through rehab and will be tested again Friday to determine if he can play
against Arizona this week. The Packers top two receivers–Nelson and Greg
Jennings–are sidelined due to injury. Jennings was supposed to undergo
surgery in Philadelphia this week to repair his ongoing groin problem, but
that surgery was postponed as Jennings was not able to get to Philadelphia
due to Hurricane Sandy. That procedure will be re-scheduled in the next few
days. The Packers also have to decide what to do with linebacker Frank
Zombo and tight end Andrew Quarless–neither has played yet this season, but
both are now eligible to return from the Physically Unable to Perform List.
