Football playoffs kick off tonight with action on Sports Fan 100.5
The road to Camp Randall Stadium starts tonight for the high school football teams that qualified for the WIAA playoffs. Among the action is a game from Division 5 that will be broadcast on Sports Fan 100.5 and online at espn1005.com. Marathon (6-2 overall and 5-1 in the Marawood Conference) will host Crandon (7-1 overall, 6-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference in a Level 1 match-up. The game features one of the top passing offenses in the state for Marathon against one of the top runners in the state in Hayden Krueger for Crandon. Marathon QB Collin Seubert has thrown for more than 200 yards per game with 22 TD and just 6 interceptions. Vince Dinkel and Jake Dinkel have both had outstanding seasons with Vince catching 35 passes for 716 yards and 10 touchdowns while Jake has 31 catches for 708 yards and 9 scores. Crandon’s Krueger has rushed for an amazing 2006 yards and 21 touchdowns this season. Coverage tonight begins with the pregame show at 6:45 and the kickoff at 7 pm on Sports Fan 100.5.
