Packers adding to their practice squad
The Green Bay Packers are signing two players for their practice squad.
They are defensive lineman Drew Vanderlin and receiver Jeremy Ross.
Vanderlin played high school football at Green Bay-Southwest and college
football at Michigan Tech, where he compiled 20 sacks during his college
career. Ross played college football at California, and averaged more than
15 yards per punt return during his career. The Packers had two openings on
their practice squad, as offensive lineman Greg Van Roten was promoted to
the Green Bay roster last week, and defensive lineman Lawrence Guy was
signed by Indianapolis for their 53-man roster.
